Arrives pre-seasoned with flaxseed oil. Rinse, dry over the flame, wipe with oil. Never the dishwasher.
Wash by hand in warm water and dry straight away. Carbon steel and cast iron like a thin coat of oil after drying; wood likes a rub of oil once a month. Nothing we make belongs in the dishwasher, except the stoneware.
